British American Tobacco Venezuela has an exciting opportunity for a Legal Executive in Caracas
The Legal Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the company and its subsidiaries operate within the legal framework. This position supports strategic legal initiatives, ensures compliance with applicable laws and internal policies, and provides legal guidance across departments. The role also involves managing direct reports and collaborating with external advisors to safeguard the company’s interests in legal proceedings and regulatory matters.
Your key responsibilities will include: 
- Ensure legal compliance across all business operations, including policy enforcement and regulatory adherence.
- Provide strategic legal support to internal departments, especially during inspections, permitting processes, and legal procedures.
- Maintain updated knowledge of legal frameworks and corporate governance to support business continuity.
- Foster effective communication and teamwork among direct reports and external legal advisors.
- Represent the company in interactions with governmental entities, courts, and local authorities. 
What are we looking for? 
- 4 years of experience in legal or compliance-related roles
- Law graduate from an accredited university
-  Advanced English proficiency
-  Solid understanding of legal compliance, either theoretical or practical
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external legal advisor
