Working with a group of diverse and highly skilled team in Monterrey as part of a DBS Hub in Mexico working closely with the Insights and Foresights Business intelligence team in Canada.

This role will be responsible to deliver data driven solutions that have the capabilities to integrate and maintain high quality data as well as data science models to answer critical business challenges rooted in a highly regulated industry. This role is needed to drive performance and understanding through data science, and the integration of new analytical tools that enable the business to curb illicit trade and strengthen our market position as we accelerate A Better Tomorrow agenda. The incumbent will need to have expertise integrating diverse data sources and redefining raw data into a unified format that is easily analysable by the business mainly focusing on New Categories and Revenue Growth Management.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead the design and development of new analytics tools and capabilities that enable better understanding of cross-category dynamics and simplify ways of working.
•  Enable industry-wide standard methodologies that leverage technologies across the BI & DS stack, optimally allowing the Data Science team to redefine data solutions in the EDP/SNF environment and use them through Business Intelligence Tools across the market (Advance, RGM Optimizer, PBI, etc.) and ad hoc cases.
• Improve VAPS Specialty Data Integrity via structural and statistical methods
• Deliver a standardized and semi-automated process to understand illicit vapour products
• Own and feed strong positive relationships with key partners, including third-party suppliers, developers and ensure standard processes are leverage to provide value on digital and data science solutions.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a field such as Computer science, or Analytics 
• 2 years in a similar role in a corporate environment, with a proven track record of business delivery 
• Experience with advanced data modelling and/or statistics 
• Advanced experience of analysing company performance data across multiple sources, and multiple relevant metrics 
• Experience working with data scientists and data engineers in developing products 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to overcome technical limitations and deliver results 
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment 
• Ability to learn quickly and lead multiple priorities
