British American Tobacco Hungary has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Management System Manager in Pécs
What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
Support the Global Quality team in developing and embedding an integrated Multi Category Quality Management System across all the functions by developing new procedures, publishing guidelines and managing control of the documentation. Manage Global Quality projects & initiatives portfolio and SharePoint & distribution list management.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage the development, implementation and maintenance of the Multi category Global Quality Management System through documenting internal procedures and Quality standards for internal approval and distribution.
- Manage Global Quality distribution list and Quality SharePoint pages ensuring information is up to date and relevant, and communicate new and updated documents to the quality community ensuring version control is in place.
- Responsible for Quality documents control management for all categories, ensuring Quality standards are reviewed when due and document approval governance is adhered to.
- Prepare, organize and facilitate Global Quality events, meetings and workshops, including assisting with presentations, informing and ensuring participants attendance when required.
- Drive and support collaboration within and across teams, functions and end-markets/ factories to support the landing of new tools with minimal disruption and collaborate with partners at all levels to develop aligned plans & priorities and secure support necessary to assure project delivery.
- Manage the delivery of assigned projects to agreed time, quality and cost, estimate resources and participants needed, negotiate with functional managers for team members, initiate purchase orders, track project related costs, identify risks and ensure adequate mitigation or bring up when something can impact successful delivery.
- Produce timely and accurate reports to enable well informed business decisions.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Global Quality, R&D, Global SNO, Global and Regional Functional Experts and factories.
What are we looking for?
- Degree or equivalent in Applied Science, Industrial, Food Technology or Engineering management related fields.
- Quality Systems Auditor with good experience of planning, evaluating, auditing, and managing suppliers, third party contract manufacturers, and factories.
- Experience of working in FMCG Quality organization.
- Experience of building, setting, and revising Global Quality Standards/SOP's.
- Experience managing continuous improvement practices with the ability to manage complex issues, work independently and manage detail as validated by experience.
- Demonstrable ability to work across functions and projects effectively.
- Good knowledge of quality standards and processes.
