British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a Junior HR Business Partner in Bucharest
The Junior HR Business Partner role contributes to the delivery of the Human Resources strategy, working closely with the Leadership Team, HR Business Partners team and employees. The role will be responsible for the execution of standard company-wide programs, initiatives and developing plans to localize where appropriate, actively seeking opportunities for innovation, simplification and problem solving of customer tailored HR solutions.
The Junior HR Business Partner will act as subject matter expert with full ownership/ project management of standard core people processes, managing, planning, and setting business partnering priorities based on overall direction from the Senior HRBP and HRD and HR strategy.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Provide professional HR expertise, advice and support, coach managers and employees on HR related topics for the designated functions/populations, working closely with COEs & Service Partner
- Partner with business leaders and other support functions to maintain a highly motivated and engaged workforce.
- Understand and execute Global & local HR strategies, processes, and projects, and contributes to the continuous development and improvement of HR agenda.
- Monitor and support HR processes & initiatives on resourcing (including Global Graduates process), development, reward & retention, engagement, headcount tracking as required.
- Supports effective governance & compliance in all HR activities including Employee Relations & local employment statutory requirements.
- Conduct necessary reviews, analysis and insights as required in preparation for HR metrics and ad-hoc meetings or strategic reviews with HR implications.
- Drive Performance Management process and system, such as the organizational leadership review/ Career Path sessions/talent management initiatives for with business lines leaders.
- Embed a culture of constant focus on people development and drive continuous improvement culture within their area.
What are we looking for?
- HR experience or knowledge for minimum 5 years covering at least partially areas like Employee & Labour Relations, Organization Development, Employee Engagement and Retention, Talent Management
- Knowledge of Romanian Labour Laws
- High level of Microsoft Office suites knowledge (especially Microsoft Excel)
- Fast learner and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, strong decision-making skills
- Good analytical skills - capability of turning data into business information;
- Strong communication and influencing skills, able to build rapport with managers
- Proven experience consulting and influencing change and the ability to manage relationships with the employees and managers.
- Able to understand business goals and recommend tailored HR approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity, and development of HR within the company.
- Advanced English, both written and spoken.
