British American Tobacco HUNGARY has an exciting opportunity for a CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE in BUDAPEST
We are looking for a Corporate Communications Executive who will drive business unit growth and corporate communications through proactive public relations. In partnership with External Affairs colleagues, take part in the development and manage execution of public relations strategies to reach corporate communications objectives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting public education / awareness campaigns, from content preparation to execution support
- Coordinating the content / updates of bat.hu and non-branded education website - reconciling / correcting legal approvals and entries in Hungarian and English
- Project management and agency relations for events (3-5 events per year)
- Carrying out financial and administrative processes related to the projects
- Project management under the guidance of the Communications Manager
- Preparation of project presentations, summaries, verification of reports
- Management of BAT central email, forwarding to the appropriate department - complaints, OBU / CBU job applications, distributor inquiries
- Supporting employer branding activities related to the Pécs factory, including local initiatives, content creation, and campaign coordination
What are we looking for:
- Bachelor`s degree required, MA degree preferred, in communications – related field of study
- Min. 2-3 years relevant work experience (either on agency or corporate side, on the field of communications and PR)
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical and organizational communication skills in English and Hungarian.
- Strong presentation skills, including the ability to create high‑quality, visually compelling presentations and deliver them confidently.
- Understanding the HUN media landscape and press management expertise
- Organized and structured working style, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external partners
- Ability to handle confidential information
