ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
We are looking to recruit an Electrical Engineering Executive for our Operations Team.
This role is responsible to manage electrical infrastructure within the site in a safe & reliable condition and to ensure delivery of uninterrupted services for production.
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Maintain and repair all electrical & electronic systems at optimum level of efficiency to meet production targets and maintain relevant records of the same
- Maintain & calibrate test equipment and its standards, which are used in the factory.
- Monitor movement of electrical & electronic spares in Technical Stores and advise on maintaining stock levels in order to reduce downtime while keeping track of stock values to maintain the efficiency of machines.
- Order placement for electrical related spares
- Creating Maintenance orders on SAP and ensuring 100% system compliance for electrical related maintenances
- Implementation of integrated work systems (IWS) , principles under the Progressive Maintenance pillar for electrical related activities.
- Provide technical training in relevant fields to up-grade technical knowledge and skills to electrical/electronic technicians to ensure a high standard of service.
- Co-ordinate projects to ensure smooth implementation and achieve objectives.
- Ensure safety of men and machinery to maintain zero accidents
- Control the production expenses and maintenance cost
- Take the charge of all Engineering activities carried out on routine or planned basis, during the night shift operations
- The follow up BAT Guidelines and Procedures when contracting out jobs and obtaining services from contractors to CTC standards.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- IETI / NDES / CGTTI (Electrical and Electronic with 5 years experience in relevant field)
- NDT (Electronics) with 3 years experience in relevant field
- C&G (Electronics) full Technical Certificate with 5 years experience in the relevant field.
- Knowledge on IEE Electrical Regulations and Systems, experience in controlling skilled technicians and ability in negotiating engineering contracts with prospective bidders.
- Knowledge and experience in PLC systems
- Knowledge on Test equipment & calibration techniques.
- Knowledge on predictive maintenance.
