The key objectives and expectations from this role are:

- Optimize Market Execution: Lead flawless execution of TM&D strategies and maximize return on market investments through effective distributor and key account management.

- Lead High-Impact Teams: Cultivate high performance in trade and distributor teams, fostering collaboration and alignment with internal and external stakeholders to drive business success.

- TeamPerformance: Enhances the productivity and effectiveness of trade and distributor teams through leadership and clear performance management.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver and own business objectives (Volume/Net turnover/Market share): Manage end-market volume forecast accuracy and ensure alignment with overall business goals and strategies.
- Collaborate with Middle East Cluster business development & Consumer Experience teams: Deliver agreed-upon multi-category portfolio and pricing objectives, product development initiatives, new product introductions, research briefs, and overall business development strategies.
- Ensure effective distribution channel management: Deliver excellence in the execution of Trade Marketing & Distribution (TM&D) strategies along with the distribution and brand deployment teams to ensure product availability and visibility in key outlets.
- Drive optimized utilization of market investments (Marketing & Trade): Track and ensure effective utilization of allocated budgets. Deliver market strategic plans that drive future profitability and growth for the end market.
- Collaborate and align with LEX (Legal & External Affairs): Implement agreed-upon engagement strategies, track and report on market dynamics and changes impacting business. Act on insights by identifying opportunities and translating them into actionable plans, including competitive intelligence and consumer behavior trends.
- Inventory and stock management: Ensure proper stock management at the distributor level. Be responsible for timely distributor collections and account receivables, ensuring stock connectivity at the distributor in line with agreed-upon alignments.
- Lead and drive trade team performance: Implement corrective measures where needed, ensuring compliance and quality results through employee performance management. Set clear KPIs for the trade team and track progress to ensure consistent performance.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key accounts: Enhance product availability and profitability by ensuring a collaborative approach to joint business planning, promotions, and key initiatives with the distributor and key accounts.
- Develop and execute trade marketing strategies: Work closely with trade marketing teams to create and execute in-market strategies that drive product visibility, distribution, and consumer demand.
- Distributor capability building: Ensure ongoing training and development for distributor teams to enhance capabilities in sales, merchandising, and category management.
- Monthly/Quarterly business reviews: Lead regular business reviews with the distributor to assess performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions where needed.
- Stakeholder management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (marketing, finance, logistics) and external stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations and alignment of strategies.
- Oversee the Profit & Loss (P&L) for EM with the support of finance function, ensuring financial goals are achieved through effective budget management and cost control.
- Responsible for distributor collections and account receivables on timely basis and ensuring stock connectivity at distributor in line with agreed upon alignments.
- Ensure consistent product quality, optimal visibility, and freshness at retail outlets, working closely with distributors to address any stock or merchandising issues.
- Collaborate with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure seamless product availability, timely distribution, and efficient stock management across key retail channels.
- What are we looking for?
- 7-10 years of experience in the industry, with a focus on sales, marketing, and operations.
- Ability to analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Proficiency in budgeting, and forecasting.
- Understanding of local laws, regulations, and compliance issues affecting the industry.
- Skills in interpreting data and metrics to inform strategic decisions.
- Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools,
- Ability to develop and implement long-term strategies aligned with corporate goals.
- Strong skills in developing sales strategies and marketing campaigns tailored to the local market.
- Experience in managing operational processes to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Knowledge of logistics, distribution, and inventory management, particularly in a regional context.
- Skills in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and performance management.
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, international business, finance, or a related field. MBA is a Plus
- Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, often under pressure.
- Skills to guide teams through organizational changes and cultural shifts.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and Internal Key Stakeholders.
