British American TobaccoVietnam has an exciting opportunity for a Consumer Insights Manager in HCMC, Vietnam
The Consumer Insights Manager plays as a key role in facilitating insights related projects, analysis & operational tasks. They contribute to the development of a Single View of the Nicotine Consumer and insights/foresights across the key contestable consumer pools to drive scale in our brands and protect the heartland base of our portfolio.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Input into the development of the Insights & Foresights (I&F) agenda for Combustibles, New Categories for Vietnam
- Complete the I&F plan and implement, manage and report on consumer research as defined by the Insights Manager.
- Manage the admin processes and ensure 100% adherence to the key protocols around business
- Proactively develop consumer insights through analyzing multiple sources and harness findings, to build a profound, simplified understanding of combustible and new category consumers.
- Translate data & information into impactful insights & foresights and support action from insights through guiding the business on interpretation and strategic decision making.
- Provide input into the development of vision, strategy and go-to-market plans for each category.
- Support the development of a single view of the Nicotine Consumer in respective markets and assist in developing organizational understanding of consumers, shoppers & and the operating environment.
- Assist in the management of research agencies, ensuring OTIF delivery of outputs at defined quality standards, and evaluations are conducted for initiatives.
- Manage complex internal data, research reports & ease of accessibility across the organization, driving tech-enabled automation and simplification, empowering teams to self-serve on-demand.
- Support development and embedding of new capabilities across the business.
- Assignment of other Consumer Insights - related tasks, initiatives as and when required
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, marketing, statistics or any related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Insights/ BI in a leading FMCG company or research agency covering all aspects of research methodologies and principles including both conventional and innovative techniques and interpretation of results and implications
- English, Vietnamese Fluent
- Strong analytical skills to be able to identify & gather right information sources
- Ability to influence and create consensus from collaborators
- Strong communication and storytelling skills: ability to deliver effective presentations to collaborators at all levels
- Experience in managing a research/information budget and in selecting and managing external suppliers
- Mastery of Office 365
- Ability to develop impactful and concise presentations in PowerPoint
- Ability to work at pace with Excel e.g. Pivot, Lookup functions, visualisation and data mapping
- Mastery in traditional research data: inc. consumer U&A, brand health tracking, retail audit tracking, pack test, communication test, campaign tracking etc
