Pakistan Tobacco Company has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Officer in Jhelum
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead & encourage the team to apply their maximum potential for support to production floor. Address any development and training needs for the individuals.
- Lead the development of onsite Shop Floor Employees through active engagement, training, evaluation and feedback.
- Participation in H&S and job specific trainings, aiming to achieve ever improving standards of work quality, responsiveness and H&S standards.
- Manage the application of quality Improvement programs driven by Quality Compliance & Performance Manager.
- Support the drive for execution of EHS protocols and contribute positively towards developing a safety conscious culture on site.
- Work with shift management to ensure the execution of QA Protocols on the Production floor.
- Communicate machine-related faults to the maintenance team to drive continuous improvement in machine performance.
- Identify & capitalize on opportunities for Improvement in product quality.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree with proven ability of working with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in a similar role within the tobacco or FMCG industry.
- Must understand cigarette manufacturing processes.
- Proven ability to influence team members positively to drive improvement.
- Proficient in using basic statistical tools for analysis and data handling to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Capable of handling quality testing equipment installed on the production floor.
- Experience with IWS – Q – pillar Activities.
- Familiarity with EHS protocols and encouraging a safety-conscious culture.
