ROLE SUMMARY
As a member of the Japan Commercial B2B2C team, you will be supporting the execution of B2B2C (business to business to consumer) activity for online platforms. Consumer engagement via our partner owned digital platforms is becoming a key capability for BATJ, driving stronger brand presence and directly targeting consumers to drive switching and retention. Furthermore, solutions not only needs to drive our underlying growth, but also benefit our retail partners for their growth agenda. You will drive the overall growth and optimize D2C (direct to consumer) promotion, by understanding the company strategy and objective, planning, executing, reviewing and developing new capabilities. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders, internally and externally, to drive engagement within the company and drive buy-in of plans from external partners.
This role requires understanding of basic FMCG business, data analytics, marketing (online/offline), project management and operations understanding.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Key Account D2C Activity Management
o Working closely with the B2B2C team members to drive our business via online D2C touch point, with consideration of the best mix with ongoing several D2C activities and Key Account promotion/campaign plans
o With the collaboration with internal/external stakeholders, execute a robust and effective D2C activity and deliver key trial, sales and conversion metrics.
o Review activity performance and consumer behaviour by working closely with analytics teams to develop actionable insights for improvement of overall D2C activities and others.
o Support management of activities within the planned annual budget, develop reports, and confirm payments on each activity to be done in timely manner
o Support projects on behalf of online D2C team with internal and external teams on the development & deployment of new capabilities
Experience Required
· Experience of successful planning and execution of marketing campaigns and projects with cross functional teams
· FMCG marketing, project management, consulting, and / or marketing agency experience
· Experience of managing external agencies and / or suppliers
· Fluent in Japanese / Business level English preferred
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
· Experience writing marketing briefs / business requirements and turning into use cases or user stories
· Ability to document & organize tasks, create process maps, SOP (standard operating procedure) manuals, educate relevant stakeholders, and identify improvement areas
· Resilient, flexible, and confident to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment (GRIT: Gats/Resilience/Initiative/Tenacity)
· Good planning and project management skills
· Effective communication and presentation skills
· Good data collection, analytical and quantitative skills
· MS Office Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT)
