British American Tobacco Papua New Guinea has an exciting opportunity for Trade Investment Analyst in Port Moresby
The Trade Investment Analyst plays a role in ensuring the business keeps track effectiveness and efficiency and provide insights on all investment activities within the trade based on plans through collection of data from BI, RCS8 and sales team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Proper tracking of investment activities and provide actionable insight to the NS/NF team to ensure that activity are delivered on an effective and efficient manner.
- Contribute to the analysis of the business performance in terms of value optimization and proper tracking of investment vs sales and pricing for each customer, channel, and region.
- Communicate and coordinate with National Sales team and other concerned stakeholders to gather relevant information for reporting.
- Regularly provides Line Managers with operational status reports on task being assigned and any impact or opportunities on sales and investment daily/ weekly/ monthly.
- Develop standard and ad hoc reports that always meet business requirements. Continually review to improve and evolve information in line with commercial strategies.
- Provide accurate and timely data related to sales and investment evaluation.
- Generate daily/weekly/monthly ad-hoc reports, trackers and tasks as may be assigned by the Line Manager over time based on agreed timeline.
- Recommend changes / enhancements to the reporting solutions.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Business Information
- At least 3 years’ experience in a Marketing/Administration/Executive Support and/or similar role within BAT or another FMCG organization.
- Prior experience in a reporting function with report generation responsibilities beneficial
- Commercial acumen & the ability to recognize potential business opportunities presented by changing
- Knowledge and experience in data extraction from multiple data sources
- Ability to manage data definitions and data consistency.
- Understanding of sales and the role within the total Marketing Team
