British American TobaccoTaiwan has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Finance Executive in Taipei.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver high-quality corporate finance activities across Taiwan and Hong Kong, ensuring statutory reporting, tax compliance and financial reporting are completed accurately, timely and in accordance with Group and local regulatory requirements.
- Drive financial governance by maintaining a strong internal control environment, supporting risk management and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and statutory obligations.
- Partner with business stakeholders to provide financial planning, reporting and performance insights for Overheads (OVH) and Non-BSE expenditure, enabling effective resource allocation and disciplined cost management.
- Collaborate with Shared Services, regional finance teams and external advisors to ensure seamless delivery of corporate finance priorities and continuous enhancement of finance processes
- Find opportunities to simplify, standardise and improve finance processes, strengthening operational efficiency, governance and business support.
- Lead and develop the corporate finance team while building strong collaborator relationships and demonstrating the ownership, judgement and influence expected of a future finance leader.
What are we looking for?
- 6 - 8 years’ experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment
- Broad experience in large global organisation with in-depth knowledge in specific FMCG process areas
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, i.e. SAP/BPC/BI
- Experience in strategic analysis & planning and execution, performance metrics, project evaluation and commercial skill
- Strong influencing, leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to simplify complex situations and synthesise, communicate, and present complex information
- Insightful, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, pro-active, collaborative, and consultative
- A degree educated with professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MBA)
