JOB TITLE: Trade Marketing Representative

ROLE SUMMARY
What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
This position exists to develop and drive territory specific volume and profit objectives for each trade channel of the business by the execution of strategic plans, sales goals achievement, ensuring exceptional customer service to existing & potential clients through the most effective and efficient utilization of budgets and living the BAT ethos i.e. being BOLD, FAST, EMPOWERED, DIVERSE and RESPONSIBLE.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Translate the corporate strategy into a marketing strategy that grows the BAT brands penetration and improves the ROI, ensuring
- Territory implementation of a trade marketing & distribution strategy that meets objectives set for consumer and customer segments
- Integration of market, consumer and customer insights in the territory, facilitating the formulation of the marketing strategy
- Achievement of end market business strategies in the territory assigned
- Drive the implementation of the marketing strategy
- Implementation of cascaded marketing programmers,
- Identify required changes in strategy and priorities during implementation
- Optimize effectiveness and efficiency of company’s resources
- Implementation of global initiatives in the territory assigned.
- Handle self KPIs and track ongoing results
- Handle allocated budget for all trade marketing activities in the territory
- Drive an ongoing process of marketing evaluation and innovation in order to achieve the maximum competitiveness in availability, communications, price and image
- Ensure compliance with Responsible Marketing Framework, facilitating productivity gains and continuous improvement
- Carry out any further duties as assigned by your line manager
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE ESSENTIAL
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- ZAQA certified qualifications
- No experience required
- Valid driver’s license (manual handing) at least 2 years old
- Results and productive
- Developing and managing relationships with key external partners
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
