British American Tobacco Paraguayhas an exciting opportunity for a Trade Marketing Representative in Asunción, Paraguay.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Help ensure strong product availability and in-store execution across all BAT categories in the assigned channel (Traditional, Wholesale or Sub-distributors) and territory (Asunción/Gran Asunción), contributing to the delivery of key commercial targets (volume, coverage, market share and availability).
- Work closely with distributors and sub-distributors to propose, implement and track commercial initiatives, supporting the effective execution of the marketing plan and sales force strategy.
- Conduct regular market visits alongside sales teams and distributor staff, monitoring performance through key KPIs and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Identify and develop solutions to strengthen brand presence and execution in the different channels, aligned with business needs.
- Support and guide distributor sales teams through indirect leadership, ensuring alignment and achievement of commercial objectives.
What are we looking for?
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence key stakeholders.
- Solid negotiation skills, with a customer-centric mindset and strong focus on results.
- Proactive and self-driven profile, with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of tasks.
- Team player with strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across different functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commercial Engineering or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in commercial roles, trade marketing or similar positions.
- Good command of Microsoft Office tools (advanced Excel, intermediate PowerPoint; Power BI is a plus).
- Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken (required).
