REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Manager Sustainability (ESG) in Clarksville, TN.
As the Lead Manager of Sustainability in the ASC Clarksville facility, you will play a central role in translating sustainability strategy into measurable operational results. You will lead the implementation of sustainability initiatives across projects and business functions, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to drive execution, and establish reliable processes for tracking performance, reporting progress, and identifying improvement opportunities. This role combines project delivery, data governance, KPI management, and cross-functional collaboration to support sustainability ambitions across climate, nature, circularity and communities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the implementation of sustainability projects and programs across operations, partnering with different departments.
- Develop and maintain sustainability data tracking processes and dashboards to monitor key metrics for Clarksville’s ESG performance.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Translate data into practical recommendations that strengthen program execution and business decision-making.
- Coordinate project workplans, track actions and deliverables, and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders on implementation status, risks, outcomes, and next steps.
- Support sustainability and compliance goals by improving data quality, standardizing documentation practices, and helping embed continuous improvement practices across environmental programs.
- Serve as the primary liaison for internal teams (including colleagues in North Carolina and Global Colleagues) for sustainability and ESG efforts in Clarksville
- Providing sustainability and ESG training and education to Clarksville teams
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, or related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in sustainability, environmental programming, project implementation, or related roles with demonstrated responsibility for delivering measurable results.
- Experience collecting, validating, analyzing, and reporting data, including the ability to build or manage KPI trackers, dashboards, and structured reporting processes.
- Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple initiatives and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to prepare clear analyses, summaries, and presentations for leadership and cross-functional teams.
