British American Tobacco Bangladesh has an exciting opportunity for an Combustibles Operations Finance - Savar
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support capital expenditure governance, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
- Monitor asset-under-construction projects and ensure timely capitalization of completed assets.
- Prepare and analyze capital expenditure, cash flow, and depreciation reports.
- Support business case development and financial evaluations for investment projects.
- Review project costs, identify variances, and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate fixed asset records, capitalization documentation, and audit-ready controls.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance teams to strengthen investment governance.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support operational decision-making and performance management.
- Support quarterly and annual planning cycles, forecasts, and management reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and financial controls.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Operations Finance, Fixed Assets, or Capital Expenditure Management preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Sound understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business case preparation.
- Knowledge of fixed asset accounting, capitalization processes, and depreciation concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems.
- Experience working with ERP systems and project accounting processes is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with a compliance and control mindset.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within tight deadlines.
