Pakistan Tobacco Company has an exciting opportunity for an External Engagement Officer in Islamabad
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead engagement from with key internal & external stakeholders including Finance, Legal, Supply Chain and Pakistan Customs
- Maintain a record of ongoing and in process EFS/DTRE Licenses including status updates
- Work closely with service provider and align activities of coordinating with Factory Logistics & Production Teams
- Coach and train extended teams on basic EFS law and guidelines for ensuring compliant way of working
- Analyze impact of duties & taxes on EFS shipments and leftovers
- Liaise with cross-functional teams for scheduling and prioritizing production
- Ensure compliance to EFS laws and factory protocols
- Contribute to long-term export planning and addition of new export markets to be brought under EFS regime.
What are we looking for?
- Strong technical expertise in Custom Duty working and EFS Laws
- Hands-on experience with factory warehousing processes
- Proven ability to coach and develop others
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and technology-driven environment
- Computer literacy and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- 1+ years of experience in a supply chain role
- Familiarity with WeBOC & PSW portal
