British American TobaccoPakistan has an exciting opportunity for a Sustainability Data Analyst in Lahore, Pakistan
The Sustainability Data Analyst will facilitate the Global Reporting Centre of Excellence in execution of the Group's Sustainability Agenda. The role will assist the business with all aspects of reporting in sustainability, which includes documentation and analysis of group data, conducting trainings on reporting methodologies and aligning the reporting with the applicable regulatory needs. This role also ensures that Leadership Team are regularly updated about the group performance and compliance status of internal controls in an accurate, concise and timely manner.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Engagement with different workstream leads to ensure OTIF data collection & quality assurance by interfacing with BAT and 3rd parties
- as required, with an emphasis on data completeness and integrity
- Drive development and maintain methodologies for environmental sustainability indicators accounting and reporting as per applicable
- international standards and methodologies (GRI, TCFD, TNFD, ISSB, GHG, CDP, etc.) as well as global best practices with an emphasis on compliance and data integrity.
- Administer, maintain and updating of current environmental reporting system (Cr360)
- Interact and work through UL to ensure functionality and upgrades to environmental reporting system (Cr360)
- Educate and coach Sustainability/EHS across the Group on reporting methodologies and the use of the reporting platform.
- Drive development of new functionality in environmental reporting platform as per business needs. To drive continuous development and efficient use of the platform.
- Support Global Sustainability digitalization project being part of cross-functional project team.
- Based on environmental sustainability performance data, to prepare analytical and statistical reports and data sets for developing and
- driving programs for decarbonization, water saving and waste management in direct operations
What are we looking for?
- Academic Background MSc/BSc. degree in Engineering, Business, (Environmental ideal)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Environmental Sustainability Mgmt. preferably in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Companies.
- Good knowledge of Environmental Sustainability Reporting Standards
- Good knowledge of Life Cycle Analysis tools and standards.
- Working knowledge of ISO14021, GRI and other environmental claims guiding documents.
- Fluent English and excellent writing skills
