A Specialist Territory Manager is not only someone who is passionate and dynamic, but also someone with a results-oriented mentality, and who is highly skilled in the 5 Ps. This individual plays a pivotal role across the region as it relates to driving the Company’s vision of achieving market leadership across our powerhouse portfolio of brands, by driving the development and execution of strategic business plans and marketing programs.
The Specialist Territory Manager position allows individuals to consistently demonstrate their entrepreneurial approach in the selling and execution of the Company’s brand marketing plans by leveraging the 5P marketing mix: Product Availability, Promotions, Presence, Pricing, and Personal Selling. This role also allows the individual to demonstrate flexibility and resilience by showcasing an ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic, and ever-changing working environment.
Each Specialist Territory Manager is provided exceptional training, including comprehensive Selling Skills training and coaching support, that enables individuals to leverage their strengths to successfully achieve targeted commercial quantitative and qualitative sales objectives. The Company demonstrates this commitment by empowering Regional Territory Managesr to challenge conventional thinking and creates an environment for innovative thinking regarding sales and marketing strategies.
Independent judgment and decision-making, the ability to exercise discretion, influencing/sales skills, business development, project management, entrepreneurial mindset, and data-analysis skills are key essentials to the position of a Territory Manager Regional Expert. Strong organization, planning, and time management are fundamental requirements of the position as well.
This role is developmental in nature and provides excellent exposure and experience relative to driving brand performance at a region level.
Eligibility for the role requires endorsement of region management team.
What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?
Territory Manager Regional Experts contribute to the successful execution of strategic business plans and marketing programs across their assigned Region. This dynamic individual plays an important role by assisting with the running of the business in the marketing function and has a demonstrated ability to analyse and apply data, adapt rapidly to change, influence peers and retailers, develop others and self, and work independently away from the Company’s locations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Represents the Company at various events, trade shows, and/or consumer events
- Develops superior product knowledge and effectively educates and engages adult nicotine customers in dialogue about Reynolds’s portfolio of nicotine products
- Assesses sales performance, market trends, and competitor data and suggests and implements appropriate actions to enhance brands performance across the region.
- Functions independently away from the Company’s locations.
- Timely completes administrative sales-related tasks, including completing daily activity reports, weekly summaries, and other reports as required to records sales activities.
- Provides coverage for vacant Territory Manager assignments, including by developing and maintaining business relationships with local chains and distributors to increase sales and promote Company brands through personal correspondence and influence, retail visits, and presentations; identifying and negotiating contracts with new retail customer opportunities; selling/executing the 5Ps; negotiating contract renewals; and achieving commercial sales and growth objectives
- Assist with identifying and closing gaps within the 5-P marketing mix
- Assist with enhancing brand activation efforts across region
- Capture and reports business opportunities. Assist with building plans to address areas of softness.
- Peer to Peer coaching/ development of others
- Assist with training and onboarding of new hires
- Assist in establishing a Hyper Market plan for local Region.
- Account collaboration with selling managers to drive results within key strategic chains across the Region/Sales Area.
- Be a role model by engaging and inspiring the sales team through continuous training that facilitates the achievement of excellent business results.
- Effectively and appropriately uses independent judgment in making significant business and strategy decisions.

Education / Qualifications / Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience preferred.

Salary and Benefits Overview
Wage Information
- Annual Salary: Minimum: [$76,000]; Maximum: [$114,000]
- Bonus Target: [25%] percent
