British American TobaccoFiedler & Lundgrenhas an exciting opportunity for a Head of Finance Operations in Malmö.
As Head of Finance Operations, you will lead all financial activities for Fiedler & Lundgrens Operations and play a key role in delivering the company’s financial targets. As a member of the Leadership Team and the Board, you will provide strategic financial guidance, ensure strong governance, and support effective decision-making across the organisation. You will oversee key finance areas including accounting, reporting, taxation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls, while ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.
In this role, you will lead and develop the Finance team, drive efficiency and cost optimisation, and collaborate with key stakeholders such as auditors, authorities, and the Shared Service Centre to ensure smooth and reliable financial operations.
Your key responsibilities will include
- Leading all finance-related activities within Operations to support delivery of financial targets
- Acting as a key member of the local Management team, contributing to strategic and operational decision-making
- Overseeing core finance areas including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls
- Ensuring a robust internal control environment, including compliance with SOx and relevant legal and internal policies
- Driving financial planning and performance management across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and efficiency
- Providing financial guidance and support on operational projects, including investment analysis and post-implementation reviews
- Leading, developing, and managing the Finance team, including performance, talent development, and succession planning
- Managing audits and risk processes, while supporting transformation, digitalisation, and continuous improvement initiatives across Operations Finance
- Comply and implement activities in accordance with the rules of laws and regulations relating to environmental protection, safety at work and fire protection, and internal EHS or Sustainability standards and procedures.
What are we looking for?
- Extensive experience in an FMCG or similarly fast-paced, complex operating environment
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, with proven ability to act as a strategic business partner to senior stakeholders
- Advanced expertise in financial planning, analysis, and performance management, with a focus on driving business outcomes
- Proven leadership experience, with a strong track record in building, developing, and leading high-performing teams
- Strategic thinker with a holistic business perspective (e.g., understanding of supply chain and commercial dynamics)
- Highly analytical, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
- Solid knowledge of finance systems and tools (advanced Excel essential; SAP, BPC, or BI tools are highly desirable)
- Results-oriented and resilient, with the ability to operate effectively under pressure and drive continuous improvement
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, complemented by a recognised professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English (written and spoken)
