RÉSUMÉ DU POSTE

Positionnement du rôle et objectifs

Le poste consiste à soutenir l’équipe de Planification des revenus et des taxes d’accise en recueillant, organisant et mettant à jour les données financières utilisées dans le processus de prévision. Le titulaire contribue à la préparation des données d’entrée des prévisions de NTO, au maintien de l’exactitude des données et à la mise à jour des principales hypothèses selon les directives reçues. Il aide également à surveiller les écarts et à préparer des analyses destinées à l’examen par les membres seniors de l’équipe. Enfin, le rôle soutient la mise à jour régulière des gabarits, rapports et outils de prévision afin d’assurer des processus de planification financière efficaces et fluides.

Ce poste relève du : Gestionnaire du canal en ligne.

VOS PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS INCLURONT :

  • Soutenir la préparation des prévisions financières mensuelles dans le cadre du processus de S&OP financier.
  • Surveiller les volumes, le TCI et les facteurs liés aux taxes d’accise; signaler toute tendance ou tout écart inhabituel aux membres seniors de l’équipe.
  • Suivre les risques et les opportunités, et en résumer les constats pour les analystes seniors et les gestionnaires.
  • Contribuer au respect de la norme IFRS15 en soutenant les revues de contrats, la documentation et les activités de suivi des revenus.
  • Soutenir les initiatives d’amélioration continue en mettant à jour les gabarits, en validant les sources de données et en aidant à optimiser les processus de prévision.

QUELLES COMPÉTENCES RECHERCHONS-NOUS ?

  • Baccalauréat en administration des affaires, en finance ou en comptabilité.
  • 1 à 2ans dexpérience en analyse financière, en prévision, en analyse daffaires ou dans un domaine connexe (stages ou programmes coop acceptés).
  • Maîtrise de l’anglais; le français est un atout.
  • Maîtrise de Microsoft Excel et PowerPoint (niveau intermédiaire requis).
  • Connaissance pratique des outils de prévision ou des plateformes BI (ex.: BPC, Vistex, Power BI, MicroStrategy) un atout.
  • Solides compétences en analyse de données et en modélisation financière de base.
  • Capacité à collaborer efficacement avec des équipes interfonctionnelles.
  • Volonté d’apprendre, de s’adapter et de développer continuellement ses compétences analytiques.

FUNCTION: Financial Planning

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The role is responsible for supporting the Revenue & Excise Planning team by collecting, organizing, and updating financial data used in the forecasting process. Assist in preparing NTO forecast inputs, maintaining data accuracy, and updating key assumptions as directed. Help monitor variances and prepare analysis for review by senior team members. This role also supports routine updates to forecast templates, reports, and tools to ensure smooth and efficient financial planning processes.

Reports to: Online Channel Manager

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

  • Support the preparation of monthly financial forecasts through the Financial S&OP process.
  • Monitor volume, TCI, and excise tax drivers, flag unusual trends or variances to senior team members.
  • Track risks and opportunities and summarize findings for senior analysts and managers.
  • Help ensure compliance with IFRS 15 by supporting contract reviews, documentation, and revenue tracking activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by updating templates, validating data sources, and helping streamline forecasting processes.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or similar
  • 1–2 years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, business analysis, or related fields (internship/co-op experience accepted).
  • Fluency in English; French is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (intermediate level required).
  • Working knowledge of forecasting tools or BI platforms (e.g., BPC, Vistex, Power BI, MicroStrategy) is a plus.
  • Solid skills in data analysis and basic financial modelling.
