British American Tobacco Chile has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst in Santiago
Manage the end-to-end system execution of promotional and pricing activities for assigned categories, ensuring accurate configuration, validation of commercial conditions, compliance with internal controls, and timely implementation to support commercial plans.
Execute finance controls, including SOX related activities, ensuring proper documentation, timely completion and identification of control gaps to mitigate financial and operational risks.
Support planning and forecasting cycles by tracking actual spend versus plan, analyzing trade investment performance and identifying insights, risks and opportunities to optimize budgets and support decision-making.
Work collaboratively with Trade, Marketing and Finance teams, influencing stakeholders and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Support Marketing and Trade teams by providing financial and operational support for business initiatives, project implementation, and ad hoc requirements, ensuring effective follow-up, timely execution and alignment across stakeholders.
Identify, propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes, leveraging automation, reporting enhancements and digital tools to improve efficiency and control effectiveness.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Execute and maintain promotional activities for assigned categories, ensuring accurate system configuration and compliance with approved commercial conditions.
- Support pricing governance through price uploads, validation of pricing conditions and maintenance of accurate system records.
- Monitor promotional and pricing execution to identify discrepancies and minimize revenue leakage risks.
- Support commercial finance planning and forecasting cycles, including budget tracking, actual spend analysis and follow-up on risks and opportunities.
- Prepare analyses and reports to support performance reviews, decision-making and cross-functional business discussions.
- Perform finance controls and SOX-related activities to ensure compliance with internal policies and timely documentation.
- Support billing-related processes and user acceptance testing for system changes impacting finance and commercial execution.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement, automation and reporting enhancement opportunities across finance processes.
What are we looking for?
- 0-2 years of experience in Finance, Commercial Finance, Business Analysis, Accounting, Audit or related analytical roles.
- Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions; ability to manage data, validate information and prepare clear analyses.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related disciplines.
- Intermediate - advanced English level
- Strong analytical and data gathering skills, with attention to detail and ability to identify risks, gaps and opportunities.
- Advanced Excel capability, including formulas, data validation and structured analysis.
- Self-starter with strong interpersonal communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity and prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with SAP (desirable).
- Familiarity with Power BI or other business intelligence tools (desirable).
