Risk & Controls Analyst

The ideal candidate should be capable of organizing and analysing data, managing tasks independently, prioritizing effectively, meeting deadlines, and maintaining productivity without constant supervision. Strong writing skills for producing management reports and interpersonal skills for teamwork and stakeholder influence are essential.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conduct inventories of raw materials, supplies, or finished products and perform inspections across various BAT units to ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Support the whistleblower channel, maintaining confidentiality while investigating fraud or misconduct by employees.
• Proactively and strategically participate in validating and improving financial and accounting control processes, identifying opportunities to combat deviations and fraud, and proposing mitigation solutions.
• Act as a knowledge multiplier for accounting controls and internal company policies.
• Build positive relationships with various departments to share results, influence decisions, and gather insights for risk mitigation.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, inventory management, or analytical activities.

•  Proficiency in Office 365, especially advanced Excel.
• Strong document interpretation and writing skills.
• Ability to travel across Chile up to 50% of the time within the country; occasional international travel.
• Valid driver’s license (type “B”) and ability to drive on highways and roads.
• Bachelor’s degree in business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Knowledge of Power BI / Data Analytics.
