The Area Talent, Culture, and Inclusion Manager is a key role that enables, supports, and drives area-scale talent initiatives that align with global people strategy.
The Talent, Culture, and Inclusion Manager is responsible for developing and implementing initiatives that attract, develop, and retain diverse talent while fostering an inclusive organisational culture where all employees can thrive. This role drives initiatives that enhance employee engagement, strengthen organisational culture, and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) as competitive advantages.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Design and implement comprehensive talent development strategies to grow and develop diverse talent pool
- Partner with HR and business leaders to identify critical talent gaps and develop solutions
- Create and maintain talent review processes that identify high-potential employees and future leader
- Support the development and drive Talent initiatives that promote and align with APMEA South's ambition and continually meet the needs of the organisation’s strategic plan and long-term talent goals.
- As a member of the Area Talent Team, contribute to the development of the people strategy, then partner with functional / country HRLT in delivering on the people strategy at appropriate levels where applicable.
- Lead and shape the Build, Buy, Borrow Talent Framework for the areas.
- Create and implement comprehensive DEI strategies aligned with strategic objectives
- Design and deliver inclusion training programs for employees at all levels
- Establish and support employee resource groups (ERGs) to foster community and belonging
- Lead Area initiatives to create psychological safety and belonging
What are we looking for?
- HR professional with tertiary qualification
- 5+ years of proven track record in HR or Talent and mid career level
- Experience & knowledge of groundbreaking/current HR practices & thinking
- Think strategically as well as sufficiently operational to deliver results
- Working in a multi/above market environment would be an added advantage
- Problem solving capability by analysing issues from different perspectives and drawing sound inferences from available data and then proposing workable solutions.
- Agile in leading change and innovation.
- Uses insight and foresight to drive decisions (data fluency)
- Ability to influence and create buy-in from senior partners
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
