ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

We are looking for a candidate to fill the position of Head of Operations in our production facility in Vranje! We need a person who is passionate about operations and operational excellence, with a detail-oriented approach, strong analytical and leadership skills, high ethical standards, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills!

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Lead all manufacturing operations to deliver safe, efficient, high-quality and cost-effective production.
• Define and execute factory strategy to support sustainable growth, operational excellence and supply chain competitiveness.
• Ensure achievement of production, service, quality and cost targets through effective planning, resource allocation and performance management.
• Drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, productivity, cost and operational performance.
• Build, develop and inspire high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous learning.
• Partner with local and regional leadership teams to deliver business objectives and implement company standards and policies.
• Maintain strong employee and union relations, promoting an engaged and constructive industrial environment.
• Ensure full compliance with all Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), legal, regulatory, quality and excise requirements.
• Champion a culture of safety, governance, compliance and sustainability across all factory operations.
• Provide strategic leadership to deliver business results while maintaining the highest standards of performance, people development and corporate responsibility.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• MBA (Master of Business Administration) or equivalent qualification in business management or technical sciences.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in senior leadership or management positions within an international company, preferably with manufacturing background.
• Advanced project management knowledge and experience.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proven leadership and people management capabilities.
• Ability to develop, coach, and inspire teams.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of motivating others.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
