British American TobaccoGlobal Travel Retail has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Executive in Warsaw.
We have an exciting new opportunity for a dynamic and innovative individual to join our team in Global Travel Retail (GTR) as the Europe Supply Chain Executive. Purpose of the role is to manage execution of the supply and inventory efficiency (of existing products as well as new launches) to achieve volume and order fulfilment objectives. Scope are geographies and markets related to the European side of the business: Europe, Americas, Africa and the Middle East. All Finished Goods intended for these markets are in the purview regardless of the source origin, deployment, and route to market. Role owner works closely with the following teams: Supply Network Operations (SNO), Supply Chain Innovation Planning (SCIP), Brand (Category), Trade (Commercial), New Product Innovation (NPI), Demand Forecasting (DF), Regulatory, Customer Operations and Logistics.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing analyses of the demand and supply outlook and actively contributing to the Customer Facing Team (CFT) for Europe from GTR end-market perspective, so that demand and supply are met in the optimum way. For supply risks driving mitigations, escalations, and stock allocation and prioritization (where required) with relevant teams.
- Driving Daily Direction Setting (DDS) with SNO and Customer Service from end-market perspective and feeding outputs to the fulfilment meetings with Trade.
- Performing analyses and actively contributing to inventory efficiency for Europe in all aspects. This includes reporting and driving of the preventive and mitigation measures on the micro level with relevant functions. Most notable reports are Inventory Health Risk (IHR) & Finished Good Obsolescence.
- Finished Good Non-Criminal Loss (NCL) – ensuring consistency with relevant stakeholders and preparing reporting for Europe.
- Ensuring new initiatives and projects (Brand, Regulatory, NPI) within existing High-Level Designs (HLD), RTM and Local Supply Chain Assessment (LSCA) for Europe are done in timely and well-planned manner from Supply Chain perspective, with all checks performed. Making proposals for any new initiative requiring new HLD, RTM or LSCA. For approved new flows: Performing Network Assessments and articulating required actions.
- Acting as key end-market supply chain point of contact during NPI projects from kick off to the project closure including write off noting (if applicable). Providing FG stock on hand, network and confirmed production within the course of projects and to DF team for forecast alignment.
- Managing security labels ordering and reconciliation with issuing authorities and factories. Ensuring communication is in place end-to-end for markets in the scope. Responsible that these are ordered in-time for production, properly reported, paid for, reconciled including any expiration dates or dates that might impact sales cut offs.
- Preparing End-Market Stock Build Notes (SBN) timely and correctly, with appropriate communication and approvals per process.
What are we looking for?
- Demonstrated experience in supply, demand and inventory planning (FMCG or other industry)
- Previous experience or at least strong demonstrated knowledge related to the supply and demand review
- Good knowledge of systems used in supply planning and product data management (SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis or similar)
- Excellent analytical skills, rigor and attention to the detail alongside resilience and ability to make prudent decisions in ambiguous situations
- Learning agility and people agility
- Effective communication with various stakeholders of diverse cultural and geographical background
- Problem-solving skills and ability to provide effective escalation and support point
- Languages: English - fluent speaking & writing
