This position leads all aspects of corporate financial performance, strategic planning, profitability delivery, governance, and group reporting within the market. The role provides direct leadership to the finance function and collaborates closely with cross‑functional peers to ensure strong financial stewardship. As a key member of the Leadership Team, the Corporate Finance Manager partners with the EM leadership team and broader Finance community to drive the company’s strategic and financial objectives..
Responsibilities
Strategic & Financial Planning
- Lead financial planning cycles, including annual budgets, forecasts, and long‑range plans.
- Identify value‑creation opportunities, efficiency improvements, and initiatives to optimize profitability and working capital.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision‑making, investment cases, and business performance reviews.
Corporate Finance & Reporting
- Oversee all corporate finance activities for the market, including monthly management reporting, group submissions, and statutory financial statements.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting aligned with IFRS, local regulations, and Group standards.
- Maintain strong ledger integrity, ensuring SAP data accuracy and reconciliation of key accounts.
Governance, Controls & Risk Management
- Implement and monitor robust internal controls, including Controls Navigator processes and Business Risk Management frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with group policies, tax legislation, delegated authorities, and financial procedures.
- Manage the statutory audit relationship and ensure high‑quality audit outcomes.
Treasury & Capital Management
- Ensure adequate liquidity and efficient capital allocation for the market.
- Manage cash flow, cash reserves, and intercompany funding arrangements.
- Oversee treasury operations, including cash forecasting and banking relationships.
Leadership & People Development
- Lead and develop a team of four direct reports, fostering a high‑performance culture.
- Promote a strong ethical, compliance‑driven, and collaborative finance culture within the market.
- Drive capability building, coaching, performance reviews, and talent development initiatives.
- Act as a trusted business partner to the Management Team, ensuring financial implications are fully understood across commercial and strategic proposals.

Business/Operational/Technical Results:
- Deliver accurate, insightful financial reporting and maintain a strong control environment
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, statutory requirements, and Group reporting standard
- Provide high‑quality management reports and financial analysis to support decision‑making.
- Safeguard ledger accuracy and ensure timely reconciliation of key accounts
- Support Business Continuity planning from a financial governance perspective.
Leadership Results
- Champion the desired finance culture and uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to influence strategic and commercial decisions.
- Mentor and develop finance talent, contributing to the broader talent agenda for the market.
- Demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and adaptability in a dynamic business environment.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Accounting qualification with 5–7 years of post‑qualification experience in corporate finance, financial reporting, or financial management.
- University degree; advanced education (Master’s, Postgraduate, or leadership development) is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of SAP and financial systems, including sub‑ledger interactions.
- Solid commercial acumen and ability to partner effectively with non‑finance stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team‑management capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
- Knowledge of internal controls, financial policies, tax and VAT legislation, and corporate governance.
- Experience in change management or finance transformation initiatives is a plus.
