British American Tobacco Greece has an exciting opportunity for a Modern Oral Brand Executive – Velo in Athens.
We are looking for a dynamic, consumer-obsessed and analytically strong Brand Executive to lead the Modern Oral (MO) Category and VELO agenda in Greece. This role will be responsible for supporting and driving the growth of the category and brand by turning market, consumer and performance insights into clear actions across brand plans, portfolio choices and innovation delivery.
As the key brand lead for Greece, you will fully look after the MO Category and VELO, ensuring the business has a strong understanding of category performance, consumer trends, portfolio opportunities and innovation priorities. You will play a central role in evaluating current portfolio performance, identifying opportunities and gaps, and coordinating New Product Initiative (NPI) processes end-to-end to ensure timely and high-quality market execution.
The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders including trade marketing, finance, insights, activation, supply chain and legal/regulatory to deliver growth in line with commercial priorities and regulatory requirements.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Own and support the development and execution of the Modern Oral category and VELO brand agenda for Greece, ensuring plans are aligned to commercial and consumer objectives.
- Lead ongoing market and brand performance analysis, translating data into actionable recommendations on growth priorities, risks and optimization opportunities.
- Generate and synthesize consumer, shopper, brand and market insights to support decision-making across portfolio.
- Drive portfolio evaluation for Greece, identifying opportunities to strengthen range architecture, product mix, hero SKUs and pricing/value positioning.
- Drive the creation of and recommendations for portfolio changes, new launches, delists, pack/format updates and other growth initiatives.
- Manage and coordinate NPIs end-to-end for Greece, including planning, alignment, launch readiness, tracking and issue resolution, to ensure projects are delivered on time and in full.
- Partner with trade marketing and activation teams to ensure strong execution of category and brand plans in market.
- Monitor launch performance and post-launch results, identifying learnings and recommending actions to improve future initiatives.
- Coordinate cross-functional ways of working between local and area stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, timing and delivery.
- Support budget planning and tracking for VELO/MO portfolio initiatives, ensuring resources are focused on the highest-value opportunities.
- Ensure all brand and category activities comply with internal policies, responsible marketing principles and external regulatory requirements.
- Prepare clear updates, presentations and recommendations for senior stakeholders, with a strong focus on concise, insight-led storytelling.
What are we looking for?
- Relevant University degree in Marketing, Business, Economics or similar
- Proven experience in brand development and portfolio management.
- A consumer-centric approach with the ability to develop brand activities and recommendations.
- Analytical skills to assess brand performance and deliver actionable insights.
- Solid understanding of key marketing disciplines, including digital and social media marketing.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent project management abilities across multiple markets, with effective multitasking and planning capabilities.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Experience in managing New Product Initiatives (NPIs).
- Strong commercial acumen, linking brand objectives to overall business goals.
