British American Tobacco Greecehas an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Finance Growth Managerin Athens.
Works in partnership with the business to:
• Translate strategies into plans and budgets, providing commercial insights relating to future performance.
• Handle and coordinate the provision of structured and insightful analysis of financial and non-financial data in order to influence and enable strategic financial decisions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leads activities to provide valuable, commercially focussed insights to the business.
- Plans and supervises the execution of strategy through:
• Providing high-quality financial information and advice to business units/cluster
• Identifying, implementing, and reviewing effective internal financial planning processes and controls
• Developing Pricing & Excise strategy by providing insights into the future Pricing & Excise landscape in terms of understanding
the consumers perception of price and how that influences consumer brand choice, competitor strategy and driven pricing
tactics, and the potential actions of our partners (government and trade), competitors and illicit trade
• Sharing insightful financial analysis, showing the financial implications of decisions and helping the business unit/cluster get
approval for commercially viable business cases, budgets, and investment proposals
• Building strong financial and commercial awareness within business units and challenging business managers to improve
performance
• Defining and implementing guideline planning and control techniques in line with business needs
What are we looking for?
- Degree educated with professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MBA)
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment
- Proven experience in Commercial Finance is a must. Additional experience in Corporate Finance is also desirable and will be
considered a plus - Thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, i.e., SAP/BPC/BI
- Experience in strategic analysis & planning and execution, performance metrics, project evaluation and commercial competence
- Comfort in dealing with complex matrix structures, as well as with external stakeholders
- Strong influencing, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Flexible leadership style to develop team members, peers, and senior
partners - Story Telling: Ability to simplify complex situations and synthesise, communicate, and present information to different audiences
