British American Tobacco Vietnam has an exciting opportunity for an IWS & Operations Skill Development role.
Lead deployment and integrity of IWS and OSD systems across PMD & SMD to enable zero-loss culture. Build team capability through structured training, coaching, and disciplined DMS, driving long-term performance in safety, efficiency, quality, and cost.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Business
- Identifying areas where the IWS tools and processes can be implemented to improve productivity, reduce waste, and increase quality.
- Ensuring that the IWS is integrated with other systems such as quality, safety, and environmental systems.
- Ensure SDDS, drumbeat, and health checks are embedded and sustained.
- Facilitate cross-functional IWS pillar teams to implement and maintain the IWS.
- Monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of the IWS to identify areas for improvement, ensure the consolidated efforts in achieving the IWS phase progression in line with the site strategy and plans.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines related to the IWS.
- Coordinate with regional/global IWS teams to adopt proven tools and standards.
- Providing training and support to employees to ensure that they are fully trained and capable of working within the IWS framework.
People
- Identify skill gaps and execute development plans for all levels.
- Build a talent pipeline aligned with business needs.
- Foster cross-site collaboration and task-based trust
- Ensure compliance and coach line structures on problem-solving and standards Promote innovation in training methods and feedback culture
What are we looking for?
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration or Automation
- 3+ years of experience in engineering, technical services or manufacturing operations.
- Experience in ISO 9001 / IWS / Lean six sigma deployment preferred
- Proven experience managing budgets, projects, compliance and cross-functional teams.
- Strong coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Digitalization.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
