British American TobaccoRomania has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant - UK Facilities role in Bucharest..
Main objectives:
To support the UK Facilities Assistant Corporate Finance Managers in ensuring the accurate recording and reporting of all UK Facilities related financial transactions.
To track all facilities costs incurred on behalf of other Business Units & action recharges.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support all UK Facilities Assistant Corporate Finance Manager (ACFM) in the completion of all financial transactions ensuring at all times that they comply with Company procedure.
- Ensure the authorization procedures within the UK Facilities team are adhered to, reviewed and updated as appropriate.
- Responsible for the accurate recording of all UK Facilities related spend to allow financial control by budget holders.
- Ensure all transactions are completed in compliance with month end timetable.
- Assist the UK Facilities ACFM with monthly accruals exercise.
- Assist all UK Facilities budget holders to understand their monthly costs by resolving queries efficiently.
- Continuous improvement of current work procedures in order to increase efficiency.
- Assist the UK Facilities ACFM with monthly & annual recharges to relevant Business Units and end markets. Resolve queries efficiently.
- Review monthly UK Facilities charges e.g. hospitality, visitor lunches etc. and the cost per function.
- Co-ordinate monthly review of open Purchase Orders & overdue goods receipts for Facilities.
- Make relevant invoice payments via company P-card & administer process in line with company procedures.
- Act as administrative contact between Facilities & BASS in maintaining SAP Masterdata via SAP and act as records co-ordinator for Facilities team.
What are we looking for?
- Knowledge of accounting principles and conventions with a Finance background.
- Attention to detail and highly numerate, SAP Knowledge/ Experience
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and to communicate at all levels both verbally and in writing.
- Able to resolve problems quickly and efficiently, explaining processes to the interested parties.
- Knowledge of governance and controls around spending activities.
- Strong excel knowledge to be able to manipulate large amounts of data.
