British American Tobacco Indonesia has an exciting opportunity for an Area Sustainability Manager in Malang, Indonesia.
To lead, set, and implement sustainability programs in alignment with global direction, local regulations, and international standards. This includes addressing site-specific sustainability requirements to achieve defined targets through full engagement of all personnel. The role covers both Operations and Commercial sites across the APMEA South area, working collaboratively with End Market Sustainability Teams and the Regional Sustainability Team. Additionally, the role includes the implementation of safety measures in accordance with BAT Global Policy, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement in environmental, health, and safety performance.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Work closely with the Head of Ops, GM to ensure the Master Plan is implemented OTIF
- Work closely with Regional and Global Sustainability Manager to receiving effective guidance/coaching and leads on best-in-class systems/tools for reapplication.
- Accountable to deliver the EHS Roadmap, FSSST
- Accountable to develop, implement and monitor the EHS Pillar/ DMS
- Accountable to lead EHS Project and achieve as per target
- Accountable to manage BAT Policy and Safety Audit
- Accountable to deliver EHS Training
- Accountable to manage EHS Communication, campaign, etc
- Accountable to manage Operational compliance with BAT standard (Global Operating Model) and local regulation - AWS audit, Control Navigator, GRCC
- Accountable to fulfill the PROPER, BATEPEN and MSDS requirements
- Accountable to make reporting to Authority for Audit, SMK3 audit, AMDAL and UKL UPL preparation
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Understand the Incident Elimination, emergency response, ESG implementation, Reporting standard and communication
- Min 10 years experiences in Sustainability, Environmental Assessment, Safety Requirement and Social Community Engagement
- Proven ability to lead, coordinate, and communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong competence in team leadership, including motivating, guiding, and developing team members to achieve goals.
- Demonstrated self-leadership, with accountability, initiative, and continuous personal development.
- Experienced in:
- CR360, EIR, other system
- Microsoft office
- AWS, IWS, Telematic System
- Project Management
- ISO 9001, ISO 14001, AWS, IWS,
- GRI Sustainability Index
- CRDDD reporting
- HSE Compliance
