Ce poste est responsable de piloter les initiatives de croissance externe en phase précoce en identifiant, structurant et faisant progresser des opportunités liées aux acquisitions, aux partenariats et aux nouveaux modèles d’affaires. Il implique d’analyser les principales catégories d’activité, de développer et tester des hypothèses stratégiques, et de traduire les opportunités en dossiers d’affaires clairs et concrets.

Le rôle requiert une aisance à évoluer dans des environnements ambigus, un solide jugement commercial, ainsi que la capacité de passer de manière fluide de l’identification des opportunités à l’alignement interne et à la planification de l’intégration, afin de garantir que les idées stratégiques soient efficacement développées et intégrées au sein de l’organisation.

Vos zones de responsabilité sont:

    • Identifier et évaluer les opportunités de croissance au sein des principales catégories d’activité et des produits
    • Développer et affiner des hypothèses stratégiques, en remettant en question les postulats afin de soutenir des prises de décision de haute qualité
    • Collaborer avec les équipes Marketing et Finance pour élaborer des dossiers d’affaires appuyant les décisions commerciales (dimensionnement de marché, modélisation financière, adéquation stratégique)
    • Promouvoir les opportunités en interne et obtenir l’adhésion des équipes transverses (Marketing, Finance, Juridique, Réglementaire, Opérations)
    • Piloter l’exécution et la coordination de l’intégration des lancements de nouveaux produits (NPI) issus de la fonction Développement des affaires
    • Comprendre, définir et suivre l’évolution du paysage concurrentiel, des startups et des tendances émergentes
    • Coordonner l’alignement des parties prenantes transverses et gérer les interdépendances entre les différents chantiers
    • Préparer et gérer le contenu destiné aux comités de pilotage et aux mises à jour de l’équipe de direction

Ce quoi ce qu’on recherche ? 

    • Baccalauréat en marketing, en gestion des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe 
    • Plus de 5 ans d’expérience dans un environnement mondial de produits de grande consommation (FMCG) ou dans un environnement opérationnel dynamique similaire
    • Expérience en développement des affaires, stratégie, conseil ou fonctions commerciales (une expérience en fusions et acquisitions ou en développement corporatif constitue un atout, sans être obligatoire)
    • Expérience en analyse stratégique, exécution, suivi de la performance, évaluation de projets et sens commercial développé 
    • Excellentes aptitudes relationnelles, autonome et capable d’influencer efficacement.
    • Capacité à simplifier des situations complexes, ainsi qu’à synthétiser et présenter des informations complexes.
    • Maîtrise démontrée des outils d’IA (p. ex. modèles de langage — LLM) pour accélérer la recherche et l’analyse.
    • Maîtrise de l’anglais : le français est un atout.

The role is responsible for leading early‑stage inorganic growth initiatives by identifying, shaping, and advancing opportunities across acquisitions, partnerships, and new business models. The role involves scanning core business categories, developing and testing strategic hypotheses, and translating opportunities into clear, actionable business cases.

Requires comfort operating in ambiguous environments, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to move seamlessly from opportunity identification through internal alignment and integration planning, ensuring strategic ideas are effectively progressed and embedded within the organization.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Identify and evaluate growth opportunities across core business categories and products
  • Develop and refine strategic hypotheses, challenging assumptions to support high quality decision making
  • Partner with Marketing and Finance to develop business cases supporting commercial decisions (market sizing, financial modeling, strategic fit)
  • Champion opportunities internally, securing cross functional buy in (Marketing, Finance, Legal, Regulatory, Operations)
  • Lead execution and coordination for the integration of new product introductions (NPIs) delivered through the Business Development function
  • Understand, define, and monitor the competitive landscape, startups, and emerging trends
  • Coordinate cross functional stakeholder alignment and manage dependencies across workstreams
  • Prepare and manage content for Steering Committee and Leadership Team updates

What are we looking for?

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business management, or related area
  • 5+ years of experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment
  • Experience in business development, strategy, consulting, or commercial roles (Background in M&A or corporate development is a plus, not a requirement)
  • Experience in strategic analysis, execution, performance metrics, project evaluation, and commercial acumen.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and able to influence effectively.
  • Ability to simplify complex situations and synthesize and present complex information.
  • Demonstrated fluency using AI tools (e.g., LLMs) to accelerate research and analysis
  • Fluency in English: French is an asset.
