British American TobaccoFiji has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Representative in the West Region.
This role involves promoting sales and nurturing positive relationships with retailers. As the face of our company in the West Region, you will guarantee that our products achieve significant market impact.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop daily, weekly, and monthly planners to ensure key deliverables and objectives are achieved effectively and efficiently. Report outcomes clearly and on time. Identify contingencies when needed.
- Able to identify and increase sales opportunities to achieve business objectives and targets. Regularly perform gap analyses and opportunity identification with detailed action plans.
- Effective communicator with the ability to explain objectives, seize opportunities, and engage retailers convincingly to build strong and balanced relationships within the retail universe.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures at all times. Manage stock accurately and honestly. Complete daily duties on schedule and accurately.
- Take accountability for product reporting and compliance in retail. Inform the Sales Manager about any identified issues. Additionally, meet the mandated accountabilities and expectations outlined in the role profile and assigned by Sales Manager and Sales Leadership team.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum of a Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business or related field with minimum 3 years’ experience in FMCG in brands, sales, and marketing
- Valid Class 2 Fiji Drivers license (Manual) is mandatory.
- Good communicator skilled at clearly and concisely explaining issues to retailers and collaborators, with the ability to build and sustain positive relationships.
- Possess good commercial competence, has a strong team outlook and high degree of organisational skill with attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point), high level of computer literacy
- Ability to operate smart gadgets like tables and smartphones
