Edge-Up Summer Internship Programme 2026
Duration: August – September 2026 (approx. 7 weeks)
Location: Tokyo, Japan
Ready to accelerate your career? BAT Japan’s Edge-Up Internship is a paid, hands-on experience designed to sharpen your skills and expand your professional horizons. Over seven weeks, you’ll work on real business challenges, gain exposure to a global organization, and explore your future career path. For high-performing interns, this programme may lead directly to full-time opportunities.
Internship Functions: Choose your path and make an impact!
- Marketing – Shape brand strategy and consumer engagement
- Commercial – Drive business growth and market execution
- Finance – Support strategic decision-making and financial planning
- Human Resources – Build talent and culture in a global organization
- Operations – Optimize supply chains and sourcing strategies
Qualifications:
- We’re looking for ambitious, globally minded students who are ready to challenge themselves
- Able to join an in-person 7-week internship between Aug–Sep 2026 (Dates TBC)
- Fluency in Japanese and English
- Less than 2 years of full-time work experience
- Must be 20 years or older at the time of internship
