British American Tobacco HUNGARY has an exciting opportunity for a GLOBAL OPERATIONS AND CAPABILITY BUILDING MANAGER in Pécs
We are looking for a Global Operations and Capability Building Manager wo will drive the implementation and maintenance of global capability building and organizational development agenda for Operations, ensuring full alignment with IWS principles and business priorities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support the Global E&T Pillar Leader and Team: Coordinate the global E&T pillar drumbeat, PDCA cycle, and follow-up of agreed workstream deliverables; Guide the implementation of E&T Pillar standards, ways of working, tools, and procedures across regions.
- Support the Global ORG Pillar Leader and Team: Coordinate the ORG pillar drumbeat and PDCA process in line with the global pillar agenda; Support the deployment of ORG pillar tools, guidance, and capability materials across regions and end markets.
- Coordinate E&T Tools and Capability Building Materials: Coordinate the development and maintenance of skills matrices and Step-Up Cards for Manufacturing, aligned with the IWS phase journey; Work with SMEs, pillar leads, and functional owners to collect, update, and validate capability building materials.
- Manage Learning Systems and Content Availability: Ensure maintaining the Operations Training Hub as a central repository for Operations learning materials; Support improvements to all learning systems based on user feedback, adoption insights, and business needs.
- Support IWS Content Management and Pillar Capability Building: Liaise with Global IWS Pillar Leaders to collect, update, and maintain relevant pillar capability building materials; Support Global Pillars by ensuring their latest training content, guidebooks, Step-Up Cards, tools, and supporting materials are available through agreed platforms.
- Enable Capability Building Across Operations Functions: Support the deployment of agreed global capability building priorities across Operations functions; Guide functional teams in using skills matrices, training materials, and learning platforms.
- Stakeholder Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with regional and end-market E&T and ORG pillar teams to support deployment of global priorities; Build effective working relationships with internal partners to support smooth delivery of capability building initiatives.
What are we looking for:
- Experience in Human Resources/Learning/Talent Development roles in Manufacturing environment; OR 5-7 years’ experience in Operations/ Manufacturing Performance/ IWS Management/ Production Management roles
- Ability to engage key stakeholders across different levels and functions in the organisation.
- Skills to lead a diverse team, both virtual and physical.
- Well-developed English language skills for verbal and written communication.
- Solid knowledge of the overall IWS (Integrated Work System - Operational Excellence) concept
- Qualification on the E&T Pillar leader SUC level 3-4.
- Qualification on the ORG Pillar leader SUC minimum level 2 (min level 3 to be achieved during assignment).
