British American Tobacco Poland has an exciting opportunity for a Area Resource Allocation Manager in Warsaw
Area Resource Allocation Manager is reporting directly to Area Head of Growth Management and is driving allocation of marketing investments across markets and categories to help the company achieve its strategic objectives. Role is supporting finance teams to develop and implement consistent set of reporting principles for marketing investments with a view to facilitate the resource allocation decisions and understanding of drivers behind business performance.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Evaluate and effectively manage marketing investments across 10 Central European markets (Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Austria, Czech, Hungary, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia) and 4 product categories (Combustibles, Heating products, Vapour, Modern oral) to help the business achieve strategic objectives.
- Support the delivery of MI/CI targets on a consolidated Area and End-market/cluster basis. Track regularly using the SOP process and resolve significant blocking issues promptly.
- Support to develop, implement, and maintain the consistent reporting principles for marketing investments across Central European markets to ensure data accuracy, availability, and effective resource allocation (COMFOM project).
- Support Area Digital Activation team with establishing budget management process.
- Act as one of contact person in resource allocation team to collaborate and engage with EM finance collaborators or other functions.
- Responsible for Non-Criminal Loss & CAPEX consolidation and analysis at CE area level and reporting it further to the region.
- Ensure compliance with Group SODA, Pink book and Marketing Governance Framework.
- Point of contact for knowledge sharing and alignment across CE area for processes related to marketing investments
What are we looking for?
- Educated to degree level with relevant professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment.
- Broad experience in large global organisation ideally with commercial finance background.
- A thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, i.e. SAP/BPC.
- Good Influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Strong strategic analysis, planning and execution skills with excellent commercial acumen.
- Ability to simplify complex situations, synthesize, communicate, and present complex information. Insightful, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, pro-active, collaborative, and consultative.
