We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated new members of our Global Cyber Security Digital Compliance & Assurance Team. This pivotal role will be responsible for designing data-based controls assurance and leading operational activities, to improve maturity of our cyber security compliance requirements identification, definition and management, third party cyber risk identification and mitigation.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in technology risk assessment, data and analytics, some previous experience in Cloud Engineering. Strong team player, the ability to collaborate across departments, and a commitment to deliver agreed objectives on time and to defined quality. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Being part of team creating and operating Global Digital / technology compliance of BAT: both external (e.g. PCI-DSS, SWIFT, NIS2, GDPR/CCPA) and internal – cyber security policies and standards. Providing requirements and posture summary of cyber security maturity as well as compliance with applicable regulations.
• Design and implement solutions of data-based controls assurance / monitoring automation.
• Analyze data from various sources, design and build exception reports, KPIs/KRIs, and continuous monitoring, to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the digital / IT security assurance & regulatory compliance framework. Identify opportunities to improve risk and compliance reporting processes.
• Conduct digital / IT security compliance assessments of new initiatives, as well as existing solutions and infrastructure, to identify potential risks that could impact the organization.
• Support the development of observability and continuous controls monitoring capabilities using custom created tools as well as commercial platforms.
• Develop and maintain data models, exception reporting, and assurance dashboards to enhance visibility of cyber security risks.
• Act as a bridge between cyber security, compliance, risk, and technical teams to ensure controls are measurable, monitorable, and continuously assessed.

What are we looking for?

• Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ideal candidates have also a solid foundation in mathematics, essential for mastering AI technologies.
• Proficient in Python, Power app, Power BI.
• Hands on experience in roles related to data analytics, cyber security, IT administration or assessment.
• Experience with data analytics and reporting, using data analysis and automation tools.
• Exposure to Cloud Engineering concepts and platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of SQL databases and a foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts
• Tech-Savvy Enthusiast: Knowledge of computer skills and some experience with programming, along with a genuine interest in data analytics and eagerness to explore and work with AI, driven by curiosity and a desire to innovate.
• A proactive team player with a positive mindset, excellent collaboration skills, and a continuous learning attitude that thrives in dynamic environments.
