British American Tobacco Poland has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Planning Capability Lead in Warsaw
What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
Lead the design, standardization and continuous improvement of supply planning processes across the organization. Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for supply planning, ensuring consistent ways of working, effective use of advanced planning tools (including Kinaxis and SAP), and delivery of measurable improvements in service, inventory and operational performance.
Act as a key interface between business partners and IT, ensuring business requirements are clearly translated into system and process solutions and delivered effectively.
Operate with a consulting mindset—translating business needs into scalable process and system solutions, driving measurable value, and ensuring adoption across global teams.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Own end-to-end supply planning process design and governance, ensuring standard, efficient and scalable ways of working across regions and categories.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply planning (inventory, capacity, constraints), delivering measurable impact on service, cost and working capital.
- Act as the central SME for supply planning, supporting partners with problem solving, process guidance and procedures.
- Lead the design and evolution of planning processes within Kinaxis Maestro and SAP to ensure system capabilities fully support business needs.
- Translate business requirements into system enhancements, working closely product owners and IT teams within an Agile / Scrum framework.
- Define and maintain global process standards, templates and governance, ensuring consistency while enabling local execution.
- Define and drive the roadmap towards a touchless (autonomous) planning model, using Kinaxis, SAP and process automation to reduce manual intervention and improve speed, accuracy and scalability of planning execution.
- Develop and maintain training materials and enablement programmes, ensuring strong adoption and capability building across planning teams.
What are we looking for?
- 6+ years of experience in supply planning within a complex, multi-site or multi-market environment, with a degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in supply planning, including inventory management, capacity planning, constraints management, and supply balancing.
- Hands-on experience with advanced planning systems, preferably Kinaxis Maestro and SAP, including process design, user enablement, and system optimization.
- Proven track record of leading process improvement or transformation initiatives within supply planning.
- Experience in continuous improvement and structured problem solving, including root cause analysis, process mapping, and benefits tracking.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments, collaborating closely with product owners, IT, and delivery teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technology teams.
- Ability to translate business needs into practical process and system solutions.
