BAT GERMANY IS LOOKING FOR A CONSUMER EXPERIENCE JUNIOR MANAGER

SENIORITY LEVEL: Middle - Management

FUNCTION: Marketing – Consumer Experience/Customer Activation

LOCATION: Hamburg, Germany

GEOGRAPHICAL SCOPE: Local/Area (Central Europe)

Are you ready to dive into the exciting world of Consumer Experience and make an impact on our multi-category brands? If you have a knack for crafting interlinked 360 campaigns, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and delivering top-notch digital activations, then we want to hear from you! Whether it be as Campaign Planning, Deployment, E-Commerce or Social Media Executive or Manager, you will be in the driver’s seat of transforming BAT’s marketing agenda.

Possible responsibilities would include:

  • Lead the 360 campaign planning process, from ideation to execution, ensuring seamless integration of marketing efforts across various platforms.
  • Develop compelling creative briefs for digital activations, collaborating with creative agencies to produce engaging and impactful assets.
  • Manage end-to-end execution of e-commerce activations, including promo plans, SKU changes, and continuous UX/UI optimizations.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing actionable insights to optimize future campaigns and improve overall customer activation strategies.
  • Take ownership of end-market forecasts and stock management, ensuring smooth product launches and promotional peaks.
  • Collaborate closely with Category, Insights and Foresights and other teams to create interlinked 360 campaigns that resonate with target audiences, drive brand engagement., and to conduct consumer research and gain valuable consumer insights that inform activation strategies.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities in the digital space, identifying new opportunities and potential risks for our digital marketing efforts.
  • Present results and learnings to senior stakeholders, offering clear recommendations and future outlooks to guide decision-making.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Master's degree with a focus on (Strategic) Marketing or similar
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in Marketing, with a preference for multinational FMCG company, with a strong affinity towards brands and D2C activation.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and collaborate across several departments.
  • Strong Stakeholder Management and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Creative mindset, ability to think conceptually and outside the box.
  • Proactive, with a can-do mindset and a passion for innovation and new trends.
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively, fostering an open and productive working environment (depending on the role & team setup).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and influencing skills, both written and verbal in the local language (German), with fluency in English.
